Day 013 of 100 | Pulling off the bandaid
#100DaysofWonder | What are you ready to try that you've avoided? Also, a small change starting this weekend.
Most of you read this in your inbox or on the Substack app. Please consider sharing this post, hitting the heart button 💛, and/or restacking it on Substack to help it find others that would be encouraged and grow our community.
It’s difficult to believe we are now almost 2 weeks into #100daysofwonder! I’ve had some of you mention getting the daily email is a little much in your inbox, and gosh, do I get that.
Starting Saturday, I’m going to send you a week at a time in advance. Basically, I’ll email you each Saturday of our challenge with the following 7 days linked in the weekly email, and you can respond as usual. Also, that means you can batch days (do a few at one time) if that suits you better.
PROMPT | DAY 013
What are you ready to try that you’ve avoided?
MY REFLECTION:
Sometimes, we try things that seem like they will work… and they do, for a time. I think one of the biggest skills in growing creatively is the ability to adapt and iterate. It’s also a joy and part of what makes it an adventure!
When we are afraid to acknowledge when something isn’t working, that’s when we get stuck.
This is short because I’m a bit under the weather today. But I’ll be back in your inbox with our first weekly digest version tomorrow. I think it will be more flexible for everyone!

All my love,

I don't know. I followed a course in bobbin lacemaking, I loved it. Then my, already chronically ill, husband became really sick and I stopped participating in the course. My beloved died. That is 3 years ago and I am slowly becoming a new person. But I cannot find the energy or motivation or whatever you call it, to start making lace again. I sew, embroider, started weaving but no bobbinlacemaking. I can't discover what I need to do to start again.
