It's Time for Wondertober!
When the world is LOUD, tiny acts of creativity can help us find the space we need to thrive.
It has the first hint of fall in the air today. You know you are from Florida when your high is 81 and you exclaim, “YES, a cool front!”
The world is loud right now. I probably don’t have to tell you that.
I’m in the online space professionally, so I see a bit more than most.
But I’m guessing even if you just pop on to socials to keep up with friends, you most likely feel it too—at least now and then.
That vague sense of everyone being on edge. Thinly veiled rancor in the comments. And the never-ending cycle of breaking news and unprecedented happenings.
It is exhausting. And that’s partly the point. If you’re tired, I get it. Me too.
This is why nurturing creativity and finding everyday wonder are acts of resistance to anything that stands in the way of our flourishing.
October could not have arrived at a better time.
We need practices that connect us with beauty and help us grow joy. Right where we are at.
Practices that help us create more than we consume. To deep dive into the small homecomings found in fluttering leaves and hot cups of tea.
To let the little moments of delight fill us full of the strength we need to face the circumstances we are in.
Creativity is soul care. It’s not frivolous. It connects us back to our center, so we have the resilience we need to show up for ourselves and the people we love.
Welcome to Wondertober 2025
From Oct. 10-31, we will be making art, doodling, sketchbooking, writing, creating our way through a list of daily prompts.
Our 21 One-Word Wonder Prompts this year are fairytale and folklore themed. The whimsy starts October 10, and thus the numbers below correspond with the date.
How to Join In
It is super simple.
Create something inspired by the daily prompt.
Share it to Instagram using the tag #wondertober2025.

Now for some tips…
In case you are new to the world of art challenges, here are some tips to make this a wonder-filled experience.
It’s supposed to be fun. Not stress you out. You cannot get this wrong. You can’t mess it up.
Skip days. Pick one prompt a week. This is about you enjoying your creativity, not adding one more to-do to your list.
Make the challenge fit YOUR life and capacity. Paint tiny. Keep it simpler than you think you need to.
Pick your favorite supplies and put them in a caddy. Or set up in a corner. The more you set up, the easier it is to be consistent.
Use the hashtag in your caption if you post your work on IG. Click on the hashtag on Instagram to see other people’s work. To make it easy, here’s a button to click over to see the hashtag on Instagram.
I literally cannot wait to see what you create.
Remember, this is a safe place to be who you are. I am so glad you are here.
You are loved,
