Dearest Michele,

I’ve been loving your Substack — especially this post on how to create an art practice of joy the same way you would plant a garden of joy.. Your words feel so real and encouraging, and I think my readers would connect with you too.

Would you be open to doing a simple swap Note? I’d share one of your posts in my Notes with a personal intro, and you could do the same for me. It’s an easy way to introduce our communities to each other, and I think they’d get a lot out of both of us.

No pressure at all — just thought I’d ask.

Warmly,

Lynn (Make Ar~Be Happy)

Thank you for your encouragement. You are always free to share a link to my publication in your notes if you think there’s something your readers would find value in. As a matter of principle, I personally don’t do engagement swaps. But thank you for your kind words and the invitation. I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying it here. 💛

Beautiful basil going to seed is such a joy.😊 Getting in step with my garden is always inspirational. Seeds are wonderous and bountiful here too. The soil gives so much back when we put a little effort in to take care to replenish with compost and mulch.

I love lasagna composting, where you layer in the old organic matter right into the beds! If you saw my YouTube history, it's 90% garden hacks.

Chop and drop has all the benefits of nutrition going back direct to the garden bed. Good garden hack for sure.
