These were just the words I needed to hear. Thank you so much for reminding me about love. It's the only thing that helps ease the fear in these very challenging times.
Ah I resonate so much with this. The world feels especially heavy to me too right now. And I love your description of your encountering those souls that totally transformed how you experience the Divine. I too 'met' Richard Rohr and his books and talks later in life and these have transformed how I see everything and everyone...
O how I would love to gather with you for food and conversation for we are people of the table. My mum used to make soup every weekend in winter, and friends and neighbours knew that they would be fed and loved. You have reminded me that to love others is as simple as an invitation, a hot beverage and a sweetie to go with it.
Ah yes! CAC , Richard Rohr. This week " Seeing through the eyes of Love". Thank you for reminding us of The prayer of St Francis and sowing love which produces love. What Wonder indeed! You pray for me and I'll pray for you, and together we will get through. Now go have a warm cup to hold!
If only this sense of community and care could be a spark of wonder ignited in all the disparate voices and hurting souls. Thank you for quoting the Prayer of St Francis - a perfect antidote to the fear and othering brewing around the world
I took a 5 mile trail hike yesterday at a reservoir I love. No headphones no distractions. Over 2hrs of fresh air and nature. It was wonderful, nourishing needed. I passed by 2 turtles crossing the trail, a snake, a tiny frog and 2 deer, I chuckled to myself thinking all that’s left is little birds tweeting around my head.
Thank you so much for your writings and inspiration it’s a welcome break from the endless barrage of toxic noise out there.
Your words echo the message I'm listening for... it all comes down to love, to being love, to choosing love, no matter what the situation. Like you... I'm trying... practicing... and succeeding only some of the time, but what an anchor it is. Choose love. It's always there. Thanks so much for your beautiful writing!
Thank you for this reminder that love is out in the world and is far bigger and more powerful than hate and division. All days can be days of awe & wonder.
I so appreciate your insights and inspiration even during these challenging times. Please bring back your 100 Days of Wonder. Those 100 words helped me get through dark times, eased my anxiety and allowed me to focus on positivity when all around me seemed negative. I created 100 watercolor pictures along with meaningful quotes associated with all 100 words. I can't thank you enough for the support and comfort to extend to others like myself. Wishing you well and days of contentment going forward.
Thank you. Exactly.

Well said! If we can show others the love and grace that’s been given to us, what a difference it would make❤️
Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them. Amen🙏🏻
