Thank you for putting it so eloquently yet real. I'm a Canadian that lives near the border and would go there a couple times a month. I have not gone there since things have been tense and things are intense now. I miss the people who ran the little shops ( especially the quilting store) . I am deeply concerned for Americans and Canadians. I have a lot of family from several states and our communication to one another has increased. It's a terrible way to strengthen our family but we are all one.

I too have lived in war-torn Africa, and the news today in my own country feels far too familiar… and horribly, horribly sad and egregious.

Thank you so much. I'm sitting here crying. My home is being brutalized because of hate. I want to be creative and see the light. I'm trying for hope. Thank you.

Not only am I NOT unfollowing, I'm "digging in" deeper and acknowledging your beautiful writing with a "hell yeah"! We all can take a page from your book and take a stand against the injustices that are occurring right now in our beloved country.

Thank you for sharing.

Beautifull words and thoughtfully written! Thank you for your peaceful and personal perspective! I live in Minnesota, close to Minneapolis and am happy to say we are a community who gathers to help our neighbors in need in these troubling times, all while being peaceful in our protest and the ones who really are stepping up are our heroes! I'm praying for all these people who are protecting these children and their parents from ICE making them disappear. It's honestly quite surreal and frightening to witness!
