I hope you feel better soon.

That one is easy for me. I’ve wanted to join an artist guild in my town since I moved here and that is my goal. As you’ve beautifully addressed on this newsletter at times, sometimes as artists we just don’t feel ready or like we have enough or that or arts not “edgy” enough, etc etc.. So that is something I will change this year.

I don't know. I followed a course in bobbin lacemaking, I loved it. Then my, already chronically ill, husband became really sick and I stopped participating in the course. My beloved died. That is 3 years ago and I am slowly becoming a new person. But I cannot find the energy or motivation or whatever you call it, to start making lace again. I sew, embroider, started weaving but no bobbinlacemaking. I can't discover what I need to do to start again.

So sorry for your loss. Maybe now just isn’t the time to start making lace. I also weave, Have you tried creating lace like woven fabric? Maybe that’s where you need to be in your craft at the moment. Create something new.
